Educational background

I’m a first-generation college graduate from Arizona State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Communications, as well as a certificate in Music Entrepreneurship. Since ASU didn’t offer a formal music business program, I created my own educational experience through extracurriculars, including the Programming and Activities Board, the Hispanic Business Students Association, AdWorks, and Warner Music U.

Now that I’ve graduated, I’m excited to pursue a career in the music industry. To be a fan of music is to belong to a community and culture — it’s this community and sense of belonging that drives my passion for music and serves as my north star in the music industry. Although I’m open to exploring, I am especially drawn to roles that combine community building, fan culture, and creative strategy. These include areas like artist management, marketing, A&R, and live events (coordinating concerts or tour management)!

Personal background

I was born and raised in Gilbert, Arizona, but my roots trace back to Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. I’m incredibly proud of my Mexican heritage, and it’s something I carry with me everywhere I go! In the future, I hope to put down roots in Guadalajara and go back and forth between the U.S. and Mexico!

In my free time, I love watching movies, TV shows, documentaries, music videos, podcasts like Therapuss and Ride, and any form of celebrity interviews. Aside from that, I also enjoy playing video games, reading self-help or music books, traveling, attending concerts and festivals, and creating playlists!
