Educational background
I’m a first-generation college graduate from Arizona State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Communications, as well as a certificate in Music Entrepreneurship. Since ASU didn’t offer a formal music business program, I created my own educational experience through extracurriculars, including the Programming and Activities Board, the Hispanic Business Students Association, AdWorks, and Warner Music U.
Now that I’ve graduated, I’m excited to pursue a career in the music industry. To be a fan of music is to belong to a community and culture — it’s this community and sense of belonging that drives my passion for music and serves as my north star. Although I’m open to exploring, I am especially drawn to A&R because of my passion for leadership and helping artists become the best versions of themselves. Additionally, I am interested in marketing and live events, roles that create meaningful experiences for fans and strengthen the relationship between artists and their audience.
Personal background
I was born and raised in Gilbert, Arizona, but my roots trace back to Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. I’m incredibly proud of my Mexican heritage, and it’s something I carry with me everywhere I go! In the future, I’d love to work with both English and Spanish artists, splitting my time between the U.S. and Mexico.
In my free time, I love watching movies, documentaries, music videos, celebrity interviews, and podcasts like Therapuss and Ride. I also enjoy playing video games, reading, traveling, going to concerts, and creating playlist because it’s the closest thing I’ve got to being a DJ (besides actually becoming one, coming soon).
